OrthoBiologic therapies are typically denied under insurance as providers consider them experimental, investigational, and/or not medically necessary. There are exceptions and with future research on outcomes will likely change.
Pricing is subject to material costs and possible facility fees. Â Given that orthobiologics are not typically covered by insurance a one time up front payment is available which is subject to change based on material/supply costs.

Extremely low risks given harvest and application is via needle. Â Nonetheless as with any procedure there is risk for bleeding, infection, nerve injury or increased pain.
30 minutes or less. Blood (or fat) harvest take minutes and the centrifuge process take approximately 15 minutes. Â Once prepared the injection is given commonly under ultrasound guidance.
Patients commonly note improvement within 6 weeks. Recovery time is dependent on the area being treated, the chronicity of the injury and various lifestyle factors.
